Teachers as students

How can teachers do an activity in the class unless they have tried it by themselves first? Thus, in my workshops teachers first work like students and then reflect like analysts. I never ask them to 'just repeat the activity'! They reflect on the given activity, analyse it completely and are coaxed to 'think for themselves' if that activity will be suitable for their classes or not. I find this 'think for yourselves' does not come very easy for teachers if they are not exposed to it. They are used to follow the trend. But this must break.
An empowered teacher is the only teacher who can lead a generation of empowered students!

So here they go...singing a song on numbers that they wrote and building the confidence to 'think for themselves' about how to use it for their classes!
