Directed numbers rules are always a problem to remember!
I asked the students to:
- make a song
- set it to their favourite tune
- present it to the class
- class then asked them questions from Maths based on the rules.
The rubric consisted of score for performances and also answers to the questions asked. The performance scores were given through peer assessment.
Oh!...in order to save ourselves, the practice for the songs was done in the field...way far away into a corner where no one could listen to us.
